More travel options with AIR FRANCE KLM

New and resumed routes added to the AIR FRANCE KLM network

At AIR FRANCE KLM, we love to give our loyal travellers a multitude of options to enhance their journey. Therefore, we continuously look for new ways to expand our combined network with new destinations. Check out the latest updates to our network below!

More destinations and extra flights in the new KLM winter schedule

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will resume their service to the Iranian capital of Tehran. The first 2 flights are scheduled on 22 and 27 October 2016, and starting from 30 October 2016 the service will be regularly operated with 4 flights a week.

Windhoek in Namibia will be added to KLM’s network in Africa from 30 October 2016 as an extension of the route to Luanda. The flight schedule for the 3 existing flights to Luanda will be slightly adapted to make it possible to fly on to Windhoek and back after just a short stopover.

After an absence of more than 4.5 years, KLM is back in Miami with 3 weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays throughout the European winter season. The flights will be operated by Airbus A330-200.

Head to Sri Lanka this winter with KLM. The airline will operate 2 flights per week to Colombo with the latest addition to their intercontinental fleet: the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Flights will depart from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol on Mondays and Fridays, and return from Colombo on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Due to strong demand, KLM will also increase its flight frequency to Cuba and Malaysia at the end of October, operating a daily service to Havana and 10 flights a week to Kuala Lumpur.

Accra, the new AIR FRANCE destination in Ghana

Starting 28 February 2017, AIR FRANCE will offer 3 flights a week from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Accra in Ghana.

In this way, AIR FRANCE will be strengthening its position in one of the most important markets on the African continent for traffic to and from Europe and North America.

These flights will be operated by Airbus A330 with a capacity of 208 seats until 27 March 2017, then for the entire summer season flights will be carried out with Boeing 777-200 aircraft offering 312 seats and equipped with the latest new AIR FRANCE travel cabins.
